The Yaqin amps have a 220v mains transformer that runs hot if left on. In fact you can hear the core hum at high mains periods as it’s pushed into saturation. It also means the valves operate outside their optimum operating condions.
0v wiring is poor pcb routed not bus bar or 0v star and heater wiring breaks every rule of AC coupling, pcb routed instead of tightly twisted wire, and a single secondary transformer connects stright to the main 0v rail insted of a centre tapped or potential divider system. This makes for a hummmm from the speakers that will never cease.
The valves are very poor quality cheap items and don’t come close to russian military stock and are about as far from genuine vintage Mullard stock as is possible.
All wiring is rather poorly routed and the soldering has much to be desired, in short after owning one I would recomend no one else bother.

Have owned the MC10 now for a couple of years. Replaced a pre and power infinitely more expensive. This is a phenomenal piece of kit. Keep it a secret though!!!
Wish to try it with a top end preamp and just use the power amp so looking for a circuit showing the volume control.
Any ideas, anyone already tried it?

Dear sir, 2 years ago purchased a Yaqin Amplifier Model MC-100B and a few days ago I have burned part of the motherboard, I have resorted to selling Hong Kong and I do not want to address is the sellers who once had made the sale to say good words apañate as possible but I do not bother, I have also resorted to France Yaqin (tubophile.com) on May 4 will send a mail to comment on the question, I say that in 48 hours is the price at 20 days as I write this asking price, and tell me that your manager is sick and I can not currently serve as a repair can check Yaqin is becoming a challenge, so we appeal to His goodness to see if you can give or tell me how to solve my problem before I despair and throw them away, very very thanks.

Dear Nic,
The MC-10L page (where you should have posted this message) has the circuit diagram. You can easily connect a pre by making up a pair of phono leads that plug in at XS201 and XS202 in place of the volume pot and input selector that comes before it.

I have seen these on ebay. Is there a better place to buy them?
